The Stamford Garden Club, in collaboration with the Mill River Collaborative,
contributed 10 Princeton Elm trees in order to plant a Memorial commemoration
of those who lost their lives on September 11.

The Memorial was designed to facilitate
multiple phases of construction. The first phase of the project, already installed,
includes the planting of the 10 trees, which allude to the notions of rebirth, renewal
and hope. Subsequent phases will incorporate the construction of pathways and
walls. |
