- Complete lawn repairs before air / soil temperature reaches 80 degrees
- Raise mower blades to 4+ inches for 6 to 8 weeks to shade out crab grass and develop deep root systems
- Keep grass clippings on lawn to stimulate bacterial activity which fertilizes the lawn and reduces disease
- Water regularly: supplement natural rain for a total of 2" per week

- Prune spring flowering trees for aesthetics immediately after blooms finish to preserve next year’s flower buds. Do not prune before flowering in order to discourage vegetative growth.
- Apply organic soil amendments per recommendations of soil tests done in March / April - Apply after blooms are finished.
