On April 3rd, 150 students and scouts put in 375 volunteer hours in Mill River Park. In the event initiated by the West Hills Environmental Heroes, the volunteers completed six projects from Pulaski Street to Broad Street including planting native plants, staining the wood of Mill River Playground, cutting brush and major clean-ups at three different sites.
