Welcome to Bergen County and the Bergen County Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC) website. We are here to impart our expertise, offer information and give advice to those seeking to own, operate or expand their business in Bergen County.

As Chairman of the BCEDC, a county business owner and a lifelong resident, I can attest to all the wonderful opportunities that Bergen County affords businesses that operate here. As the designated liaison between Bergen County government and the business community, the BCEDC holds a unique perspective on exactly what resources are available to the business community. We work closely with County Government to produce a climate where business can thrive.

The BCEDC is able to be such a successful partner in business because of the partners we work with everyday. In addition to partnering with County Government, collaborating agencies, such as the Bergen County Division of Community Development, the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board, the Bergen County Improvement Authority, the Small Business Development Center, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and the Foundation for Free Enterprise, work together with us to cultivate, retain and expand business, and countywide economic growth.
