Bayonne
is accessible via Exit 14A of the New Jersey Turnpike, which
connects to I-95, I-78, the Holland Tunnel, and the Lincoln
Tunnel. The New Jersey Turnpike provides Bayonne with a close
connection to Newark Liberty Airport, Port Elizabeth, and
other parts of New Jersey.
Route
440 connects Bayonne to Jersey City to the north. Route 440
also links with the Bayonne Bridge and Staten Island to the
south.
Several
New Jersey Transit bus lines connect Bayonne with New York
City and Jersey City.
The
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System connects Bayonne with Jersey
City and Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) trains. Eventually,
the Light Rail line will have station stops in several communities
in Bergen and Hudson Counties. PATH has station stops in Manhattan,
Jersey City, Newark, Hoboken, and Harrison.
