The
Bayonne Town Center was established in 1991 as a 501(c)3 to
serve as a vehicle to economically revitalize Broadway from
19th to 27th Streets. In 1999, the Town Center expanded, now
comprising 17th to 30th Streets.
The Bayonne
Town Center is made up of an 11 member Board that assists
the Executive Director and staff in managing the day-to-day
operations.
The
Bayonne Town Center coordinates promotions as well, from the
annual Tree Lighting to the Summer
Classic Car Show Series. The Bayonne Town Center
also puts up holiday lights, flags, and organizes promotional
give-aways.
The
Bayonne Town Center supplements the sidewalk cleaning and
acts as the liaison between the merchants and the City of
Bayonne.
