ABUZZ WITH HOLIDAY RETAIL EXCITEMENT!
BAYONNE,
NJ – November 19, 2002 – Bayonne’s got Macy’s
beat – by celebrating the coming of the 2002 Holiday
Season on Tuesday, November 26th, two days before Thanksgiving!
Hear the sounds of the season with performances by the Henry
E. Harris Orchestra & Jazz Band, Bayonne High School’s
“Sweet Harmony,” and Mount Carmel’s “Heavenly
Angels Choir,” along with a Tree Lighting to usher in
your holiday spirit. (Full schedule to follow)
All Municipal Parking Lots are “Free Parking”
the entire month of December.
Bayonne holiday shoppers get a big boost in savings, now that
their sales tax has been reduced by half (3%) since many participating
locations have signed on to the recently designated Urban
Enterprise Zone for the City of Bayonne.
