PASTIME
HOBBIES CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING!
BAYONNE,
NJ – January 27, 2004 - Do you remember the first time
you watched with delight as a miniature train zoomed around
the tracks of a tiny town? The pride you felt when you finished
building your first model car, airplane, or battleship? Or
the hours spent lost in wonder and amazement at the diminutive
beauty of a dollhouse? Well, rediscover your passion at Pastime
Hobbies, who celebrated their Grand Opening at 615 Broadway
on Saturday, January 10th, 2004. Mayor Joseph V. Doria, Jr.,
officiated at the festivities, cutting the ceremonial ribbon,
welcoming shop owners Aida Figueroa and Vincent Margiotta
to the Bayonne Town Center family of merchants.
Although
Vincent enjoyed careers in the aerospace and telecommunications
industries, it was his lifelong devotion to model railroading
and model building that became his true vocation, and was
the catalyst for Pastime Hobbies. Stocking such lines as Atlas,
Kato, Bachmann and Athearn, as well as the illustrious Lionel,
Pastime Hobbies offers a wide variety of complimentary accessories
such as trees, figures, buildings, etc.—everything you
need to set up your very own train set.
