Jack Lemonik - Chief Technology Officer

Jack is an accomplished veteran of the software and information technology space, with a career spanning more than 30 years managing technology projects, infrastructure and strategy, primarily for Wall Street firms.  Most recently, after serving as a technology executive at Citigroup but before teaming up with OCE, Jack was the founding CTO of FX Alliance (FXall), the leading Internet e-trading site for the global institutional foreign exchange community.

In his five years at FXall, where he was responsible for software development, product management, technology architecture, system and network engineering, production services and customer engineering, Jack guided the firm from the initial development of its technology platform to become one of the two dominant global providers of foreign exchange trading software to Wall Street.  FXall’s clientele of more than 1,000 institutions includes all of the major money-center banks, such as Citigroup, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase.

Edward Melnick, Ph.D - Chief Statistical Advisor

For more than three years, Ed has supervised the development of OCE’s statistical methods.  Ed is a tenured senior professor of statistics at New York University’s Stern School of Business, having logged 40 years of service, including a multi-year stint as Stern’s statistics department chairman.

The author of dozens of publications and articles on statistics topics, in the investment arena Ed is a Co-Editor of the book Creating Value in Financial Services and the Editor-in-Chief of John Wiley’s comprehensive Encyclopedia of Risk.  The American Statistical Association (ASA) and the Royal Statistical Society both have recognized the quality of Ed’s many research publications by voting him to the position of Fellow.  Ed also serves as Chairman of the Risk Analysis section of the ASA.  During his career, he has provided extensive consulting services to government and industry, including on Wall Street, where his clients have included JP Morgan Chase, CS First Boston, Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank.
