Some places just “feel like home.” As soon as you walk through the door, you want to stay – curl up by the fireplace, throw a party, lounge on the porch, or go upstairs to a private retreat. Regardless of the style, shape or size of these special houses, they all have one thing in common – a profound effect on your behavior. They affect how you think, feel, act, and interact with others.
Our design process is unique - it is based on the fact that your home requires a psychological as well as a physical customization. Merely replicating features of houses found in magazines that were designed for someone else will not result in a home design that is truly successful in meeting your needs.
At the outset of our relationship, you may not be able to express the qualities that you want in your home – therefore your answers to some very basic lifestyle questions will be the starting point from which the decisions that shape your home will be made. We will work together, space by space, to create an environment that reflects your unique personality, suit your lifestyle, and creates an inspiring yet comfortable environment.
We need to approach the design of our homes in a new way – as environments that actively affect us and the quality of life.
